Strengthening the Digital Ecosystem in Yogyakarta, Telkom Introduces neuCentrIX Pugeran

Yogyakarta, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk officially launched neuCentrIX in Pugeran, Yogyakarta, marking the 25th Data Center that Telkom Indonesia has completed, inaugurated on Thursday, October 10, 2024. This neuCentrIX facility is also the second location in Yogyakarta, following the first in Kotabaru.


The launch event was attended and opened by three of Telkom's Board of Directors: Bogi Witjaksono (Director of Wholesale & International Service), Honesti Basyir (Director of Group Business Development), and Herlan Wijanarko (Director of Network & IT Solution).


Bogi Witjaksono, Director of Wholesale & International Service at Telkom, stated that neuCentrIX is a data center service focused on providing high-quality digital infrastructure to support digital economic growth by offering secure data storage for various business sectors in Indonesia. Adhering to the principles of Simple, Secure, and Standard, neuCentrIX, a neutral data center, demonstrates Telkom's commitment to developing a strong digital ecosystem and supporting digital transformation. neuCentrIX Yogyakarta is seamlessly connected to neuCentrIX Semarang.


The core event at the launch of neuCentrIX in Pugeran, Yogyakarta, was the signing of the Agreement Minutes and contracts with the first two clients, PT Jembatan Citra Nusantara and Kasih Ibu Hospital (RSKI). PT Jembatan Citra Nusantara, or Citranet, a leading internet service provider, and RSKI, a healthcare institution, will utilize neuCentrIX data center services to support their digitalization needs. This moment marks the beginning of the modern data center's operations, which are expected to strengthen digital infrastructure in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas, providing secure data solutions for various business sectors.


The launch of neuCentrIX Pugeran was attended by guests from both the public and private sectors operating in and around Yogyakarta, including representatives from Citranet, Kasih Ibu Hospital, and several prominent universities such as UNY, UAD, UGM, and Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta. The presence of these guests reflects great enthusiasm and support for neuCentrIX services, which are expected to strengthen Indonesia's digital infrastructure.
